JLM Creates At-Home Relief Bags for Teen Girls

One of the core tenets of The Junior League of Midland, Inc.’s mission is to develop the potential of women. Junior League of Midland focuses its community impact efforts on helping women and girls realize their potential through a variety of mentoring programs – I.M.P.A.C.T., Face the Race, and Suits with Skills. With COVID-19 having caused schools to be out and students to have to stay home, Junior League of Midland wants to provide comfort to teen girls across Midland and to let them know that it will get better.

Junior League of Midland has responded by making 200 at-home relief bags for teen girls. The bags contain feminine hygiene supplies, snacks, and craft supplies. These bags will be available for pickup at Lee Freshmen and Midland Freshmen and at MISD’s summer meal service sites beginning May 26, 2020 (while supplies last). Find your closet summer meal distribution site at https://www.midlandisd.net/Page/33802.
